Radical
Ladle

Mnemonic

Deep inside a cavern, a single drop of water falls from the ceiling. Over centuries, these drops have carved a perfect stone ladle into the rock floor. Each drop fills the ladle a little more—nature's own scoop, shaped one drip at a time in the dark.
Additional thoughts
Picture the hollowed-out spoon shape in the cavern floor, formed by an eternity of dripping water. The cavern is the open bowl, the drop is what carved and fills it. A ladle is basically a big scoop—just like the basin the water eroded.
